HIV-Status

5. What should I do if I need to get a HIV test for my new job?

Again this is debatable. Some employment asks for only a general physical check up and some, more detail like blood test. Seriously, there’s nothing one can do to stop them from doing so. Either you consent to it or don’t. With you consenting to it, you are bound to expose your HIV status. The company will not employ you if you are found out. And, if you do not consent to the blood test, the company will still not employ you on the grounds that you are medically unfit to under go the test. On both counts, one still loses out. Its then up to the individual whether he wants to put up with all the hassle.
